With a career in real estate spanning over three decades, Melinda Corder brings unmatched dedication, compassion, and expertise to every client she serves. Since launching her sales career in 1994 and becoming the broker of Corder Real Estate in 1996, Melinda has built a reputation for putting people first—treating every transaction as a personal mission to serve her clients with honesty and care.

Before entering the world of real estate, Melinda spent 20 years as a surgical technician at DCH Regional Medical Center, assisting in thousands of procedures. That experience sharpened her attention to detail, her ability to stay calm under pressure, and—most importantly—her desire to help others. She carries those same qualities into her real estate business today.

“My customers are my livelihood, and I never forget that,” says Melinda. “There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone make one of the biggest decisions of their life—and seeing them happy.”

Melinda specializes in residential sales and has been instrumental in establishing Corder Real Estate as one of Tuscaloosa’s leading firms for new construction. She holds several of the industry’s top professional designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). Her success is reflected in a growing base of loyal buyers, sellers, and repeat clients who trust her to deliver results.

Outside of work, Melinda enjoys traveling, spending time on the water, and hunting for antiques. She is married to Lynn Corder and is the proud mother of two sons, Brock (Amanda) and Blake (Angel), and grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren—including a set of twins!
